OptimaGateway Overview
The Gateway is the central management point for your OptimaGPT installation. All administration happens here, and it is the only component your users need to reach.
Logging in
Navigate to the Gateway's address in a browser. You will be presented with the login screen. Enter your username and password to continue.

The interface
After logging in, administrators are taken to the Nodes page — the Gateway's home screen. The navigation sidebar on the left provides access to all areas of the Gateway.

Navigation
The sidebar shows different options depending on your account type.
Admin accounts see the full navigation:
| Item | What it does |
|---|---|
| Chat | Opens OptimaChat — the AI chat interface |
| Nodes | The home page — manage connected nodes and view gateway stats |
| Executors | Browse and install executor packages for your nodes |
| Configuration | Manage API keys, TLS certificates, and gateway settings |
| Documentation | Opens the OptimaGPT documentation |
| Logout | Signs you out |
Standard user accounts only see Chat and Logout. They are taken directly to OptimaChat on login and have no access to any admin areas.
Settings panel
Settings for users, MCP servers, security, and gateway preferences are accessed by opening the Settings panel from within the Configuration area. The panel has a left-hand menu with the following sections:
| Section | Contents |
|---|---|
| General | Licence info, gateway version, port configuration, developer options |
| Users | Create, edit, and delete user accounts |
| Security | API key management and TLS certificate configuration |
| MCP Servers | Add and configure Model Context Protocol servers |
| My | Personal preferences (UI animations) |
